Awe, now this is an awesome bench! After building this we realized just how many uses it really had. Lets say it's time to take the dog outside, who knows where the leash and collar are, hey where are my shoes? Where is the doggie bags while Rover is patiently waiting by the door, tongue hanging out, tail wagging and appearing happy but we know what he is thinking.
The children, what a great place to put the crayons and coloring book. The lid is not too heavy and the safety hinge keeps little fingers protected. They can sit on it to take their shoes off and store them underneath. Plus the top makes a great tabletop for coloring. It's a piece they will be able to call their very own. Looks great in the living room too.
Now for the bench itself, this bench is solid oak. It's built as strong as all our other benches the only difference is, it's small compact and handy to put in tight places.
