complete your purchase and choose the option "Ordering
Samples" and the samples will be sent to you.
These are actual blocks of wood not tiny swatches.
We do not send free samples.
please do not ask. We spend approximately
$20.00 on a set of samples including shipping since
they are actual wood blocks. We have sent many samples
to people who have not purchased and do not plan purchase.
It is NOT cost effective for our paying customers.
We find people request them to make purchases from
cheaper companies or simply because they want to check
colors. It is not fair to you. Therefore we will no
longer do it.
If you would like samples in the other types of hardwoods
please use the comments section to let us know on
the order page. There is no cost for the samples when
completing an order however samples will not
be shipped without completing your purchase.
In all the years of doing business we have never
been unable to match a color.

The stain color will vary from
board to board depending on the grain of the
board, the age of the board, the growth pattern
of the board. Your color settings on your computer
will change the color also.

Finish color may not match this chart exactly.
Please keep that in mind when ordering your
color choice. Ebony stain is NOT
BLACK LACQUER! If you want black Lacquer you
must order it, additional costs will apply.
As with any natural wood
product that will be exposed to water you must
apply a heavy coat of wax at least once a week
to keep yoou pieces looking nice. If your not
willing to do proper care, please do not purchase
a solid oak product. The piece will not hold
up to constant water exposure without the wax.
We at Mission Time designs use all Minwax products. For
an actual color chart please visit your local hardware store
and ask for Minwax color samples.
